A Special Gift for
Paul's Birthday...

“Laughter is the shortest distance between two people.”
~ Victor Borge

Paul is turning seventy-one on March 18.

To celebrate, we're creating a special audio gift filled with stories and memories from the people who know him best — and we know Paul would love to hear your voice.

You might share a favourite memory, a moment that made you laugh, something you've always wanted to say, or simply your wishes for the road ahead.

Your recording will become part of a unique keepsake — a Story Collection audiobook made from the voices of family and friends around the world — something he can return to again and again.

An Invitation

Recording is as simple as leaving a voicemail for someone you love — no camera, no fuss, just your voice whenever a quiet moment finds you. Up to five minutes is perfect.

Before you record, take a moment with the story prompts below — they’re there to help your thoughts settle so you feel relaxed and ready when it’s time.

Recordings close on Sunday 15th March at 5pm. In the meantime, let the memories come back to you. The best ones often need a little time to surface.

Once your message is received, Louise from The Story Collection will be in touch to confirm.

Reminisce

Before you record, take a moment to think about the stories or messages you'd like to share with Paul.

We recommend preparing a few notes before you begin — whether that's a full script you read aloud, a few words to keep you on track, or simply a list of topics you'd like to cover. Whatever works for you! This way, if your internet connection drops out or you need to re-record, your thoughts won't be lost.

Don't worry about being perfect — coughs, pauses, and hesitations will be edited out. Your voice will be gently woven with music into a beautiful listening experience.
