The Recording Environment

03

IMPORTANT: If you are recording on a mobile phone, gently tap the screen intermittently during your recording to prevent the phone from becoming idle. The recording may be interrupted if the phone 'goes to sleep' .

05

If possible, record in a room with carpet and/or curtains and avoid rooms with tiles or high ceilings.

04

Recording at night is recommended to minimise background noise.

06

Turn off loud appliances e.g. fans or heaters.

07

Please record without pets in the room.

When it is time to record your gift, please do a 'test recording' to check the audio quality.

To do this, start your recording and talk for a few seconds about any topic.

Press the 'STOP' button.

Then, press the small grey arrow button on the upper left of recording frame, to play your message back.

Is it a good volume? Is your voice nice and clear?

If so, simply press 'START AGAIN' and start your gift recording.

You can re-record your message as often as you like before submitting.
